Charity and Not-For-Profit-Law in Ontario is an emerging field of law which is quickly developing into a specialty area. This proactive Section will assist you to provide services to charities or not-for-profit organizations either as legal counsel or as a volunteer.

The OBA, in conjuction with Associated Medical Services (AMS) created the AMS John Hodgson Award. The award is presented annually to an OBA member to recognize his or her exceptional contribution in enhancing the practice of law in the charity and not-for-profit law sector.
