Finance
The Finance department works with members and staff to plan and develop OBA's annual budget, manage and review the financial affairs of the organization including its reserves and investments, and provides account payable/account receivable services to all OBA departments, LINK and OBA's foundation ALERT.
Services:
- Prepares financial statements for OBA, ALERT and LINK
- Co-ordinates the budget planning process and works with departments and members to develop OBA's annual budget
- Liaise with the Finance and Audit Committee to manage and review OBA's financial affairs
- Liaise with and provide support to Auditors for OBA, LINK and ALERT
year-end audits
- Provides payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable services for all OBA departments to ensure OBA's stable financial position
- Manages OBA's long-term financial stability through reserve funds and investments
