On Monday, May 12, 2008 and as part of South Asian Heritage Month, the South Asian Bar Association will be partnering with the Law Society of Upper Canada and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario in presenting an informative panel discussion on "Building the Case for Diversity in the Legal Profession".  A reception will follow.

A panel of legal professionals representing legal workplaces (large law firm, governments, law school and other legal workplaces) will discuss initiatives and innovative ways to increase diversity in their organizations. The session will examine the benefits of diversity, how it strengthens organizations, and why it makes good business sense. What initiatives are working? How do these programs work?
