As a student member, you are automatically enrolled in the Young Lawyer’s Division, and you can choose 2 additional Practice Sections at no cost (a savings of up to $100), giving you access to online discussions and newsletters in your selected areas of law or interest. Sections are 37 practice-specific groups designed to meet the educational, advocacy and professional needs of members. Student members will receive notification of educational seminars and special events, together with Section newsletters containing a wealth of substantive legal information and practice advice. Students get involved and get noticed when they participate in Sections.

OBA’s Membership Directory: The Ontario Bar Association’s secure, online Membership Directory has been developed to further support the work of the association and to help Members find other Members, and is accessible to Members only by logging in behind the OBA “Members Only” wall at www.oba.org. This directory includes Member name, firm, address, phone, fax and e-mail address (as indicated on this form), plus county and any registered Sections and active Committee affiliations. A print directory of key volunteers may also be produced for limited distribution and internal use.
