Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity's mandate is three-fold. Firstly, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity's focus is on the substantive equality rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgendered and two-spirited people.

Secondly, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity provides a vital forum for the exchange of information on sexual orientation and gender identity for those members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered or two-spirited.

Thirdly, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity provides public education through CLE and professional development programmes to address issues relevant to those members who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered or two-spirited and/or to those members who deal with issues around sexual orientation and gender identity in their practice.
