Media Training
The OBA has release a new series of dates for our Media Training 201 course. This course, which is available to all past participants in our Media Training 101, will prepare you for on camera interviews, panel discussions and court step scrums.

The course which is taught by Karen Gordon of Squeky Wheel Communications and videographer Brad Cowan will cover:
- The various types of on camera interviews that you may encounter as a legal professional
- Planning and delivering a message on TV
- How body language and presentation can frame the way viewers hear your message
- Successful communications in a panel discussion
- Unique challenges posed by on camera versus print and radio interviews
This is a hands on seminar and all attendees will participant in mock one-on-one interviews and group panel discussions.

July 8th - 8:00am to 10:30am
July 9th - 4:00pm to 6:30pm
August 19th - 8:00am to 10:30am
August 20th - 4:00pm to 6:30pm
October 7th - 8:00am to 10:30am
October 7th - 12:00pm to 2:30pm
October 7th - 4:00pm to 6:30pm
October 8th - 8:00am to 10:30am
October 8th - 12:00pm to 2:30pm
October 8th - 4:00pm to 6:30pm
