Goodbye, “Briefly Speaking”
It has become apparent that our articles aren’t so brief anymore. We need a new name.
Many years ago, Briefly Speaking began as the OBA’s official newsletter, featuring snippets of association information and industry news clippings. When we evolved to a magazine format in 2006, in order to better serve our members our articles naturally progressed to in-depth editorial covering a wide variety of topics relevant to today’s Ontario lawyer.
The Ontario Bar Association is rebranding its magazine, and we need your help!
Send your name suggestions to brieflyspeaking@oba.org and you may see it on the cover of the newly re-launched magazine in April 2012.

Contest Details
The Ontario Bar Association welcomes name suggestions from all active members of the association. The association must consider many factors when determining the name of the magazine, and is not beholden to contest suggestions when making the final decision. If a ‘runner up’ name is selected, the winner will be featured in the April 2012 edition of the magazine, at the member’s discretion.
The contest is open from Dec. 13, 2011 until January 6, 2012.
