The Ontario Bar Association is a branch of the Canadian Bar Association, an organization of lawyers formed to provide support by the profession to the profession so that it may render better service to its members and the public.

The Law Society of Upper Canada regulates the legal profession, and is responsible for qualifying lawyers, regulating lawyers, making referrals and resolving complaints. The Ontario Bar Association does provide information and tips for finding and working with your lawyer.
