Civil Review Project Report

The mandate of the Judicial Working Group of the Civil Review Project is to make recommendations reducing wait times on the civil list in Toronto. This report provides initial recommendations for civil long motions and begins to canvas long-term solution to reduce unacceptable delays in the litigation process.

Toronto Region Pilot Practice Advisory - Civil Practice Court

On Monday, November 10, 2014, certain changes will be made which will affect the practice in Motion Scheduling Court. After that date, it will be known as Civil Practice Court. The initial changes are outlined in the attached Toronto Region Pilot Practice Advisory. The pilot is operational until July 1, 2015. Thereafter, any terms that remain in effect will be formally incorporated into a Practice Direction.
