Membership

The Membership Department works in close cooperation with all other OBA departments, in addition to our volunteers, CBA's National office and the Member Savings providers to ensure that our members receive complete value for the variety of services made available to them. To find out more about your savings with the OBA on products you purchase every day and to improve your bottom line, visit our Member Savings page!

Recruitment, Retention and Recovery
of members is a key function of the Membership department. There are currently more than 17,000 members with corresponding fee categories, including lawyers, judges and law students from across Ontario. To join, simply click
here for online application.  Law School students click here to join online.

Informing Members in a Timely Manner
is dependent on an accurate and up-to-date Ontario membership database. We are committed to database integrity, which enables us to maintain contact with our members, while ensuring that members receive relevant information about programs and services. To update your membership contact information, please click
here or send us an email at membership@oba.org.

Sections Enrolment
is also administered through the Membership department. The Section year begins in September and runs through to the following June. Renewal and enrolment forms are mailed out each year to members during the early summer period. For more info on how Section participation can bring advantages, click
here for benefits!  To enrol into Sections, you may either submit your selections online or print off the form. Enrol now.
